The countdown to the start of a new school year is officially underway. Just 10 days to go! We can’t wait to welcome our students back into our schools on August 13th to begin another year of learning, growth and opportunity together.
As I reflect on the past two years, I am incredibly proud of the growth I have witnessed across the Toppenish School District. There is an energy building in our schools and throughout our community. We have strengthened relationships, celebrated successes, faced challenges together and continued to raise our expectations for what is possible for every student. The momentum is growing, and I am excited about where it is taking us.
At the end of last school year, a committee of students, staff, families and community partners came together to help shape the next chapter for Toppenish. Together, they created a new Strategic Framework that will guide our district over the next five years and help ensure that the work we do today prepares our students for the opportunities of tomorrow. I have attached an infographic outlining this framework.
This is exciting work, and it is only the beginning. Throughout the coming school year, we will share more about the goals and priorities connected to this framework and the ways our students, staff, families and community can be part of bringing it to life. I look forward to continuing to build the future of our schools and community together, rooted in a shared vision for every Toppenish student to learn, grow and thrive.
