Mrs. Angela Purdy Selected as Principal of Toppenish High School 🎉

Toppenish School District is excited to announce that Mrs. Angela Purdy has been selected as the next Principal of Toppenish High School.

Mrs. Purdy brings 20 years of experience in education, all dedicated to serving students, staff, and families in the Toppenish School District. She began her career as a 5th grade teacher and later served as an instructional coach at Valley View Elementary before becoming Assistant Principal at Kirkwood Elementary. For the past seven years, she has proudly served as Principal of Valley View Elementary.

Through a thoughtful hiring process, Mrs. Purdy was recommended by the hiring committees for this role. Her experience, proven leadership, and deep commitment to students made her a strong choice to continue supporting the growth and success of Toppenish High School.

This school year, Mrs. Purdy had the opportunity to serve as Acting Principal at Toppenish High School at both the beginning and end of the school year. During that time, she brought structure, compassion, and steady leadership to the THS community. Her ability to lead with high expectations, while keeping relationships and care at the center of her work, reflects the kind of servant leadership that will continue to move THS forward.

Angela is always willing to step up and serve wherever she is needed, with students at the heart of each decision she makes. We are excited for her to continue serving our district in this new role and look forward to the positive impact she will have as Principal of Toppenish High School.
