Dear Families and Caregivers, 

Toppenish School District is upgrading our transportation systems to better support the safety and well-being of our students. Over the next month, we will transition to a new bus routing software and student check-in system, with full implementation beginning January 1, 2026.

We have invested in this new software because safety remains our highest priority. This system will allow us to know when students board the bus, where transfers occur, and when they exit the bus. This is especially critical due to the daily transfer process at Valley View, where many students move from one bus to another to support efficient routing across our district.

To prepare for this transition, we need every TSD family to complete the transportation information form no later than December 19, 2025. This form is required for all students, not only those who ride the bus daily.  So far, only 140 families have completed the form. We need 100 percent of families to participate so we can properly set up each student’s secure login and ensure accurate routing information. Accurate information is needed for field trips, athletics, activities, and any situation where a student may need transportation. Things to note: 

• If you filled out this form at your student’s conference, no further action is required. You are ready to go! 

• This forms should be filled out for all students. Families with multiple students will need to fill out one form for EACH student. Families must enter their student’s ID number on the form. You can find this number by logging in to your student’s Qmlativ account. If you are unable to log in, please contact your child’s school office for assistance.

• Additional instructions and resources will be shared with families as we move through this transition. Completing the form by the deadline is essential to ensuring your student is fully set up in the new system when we return from winter break.
