The Toppenish School District will be moving to remote learning 1/18 - 1/24
Message from Superintendent Cerna:
Due to a staff shortage and stress on our whole school systems (educational, food services, health & safety, technology, and custodial), we need to pivot to distance/remote learning for next week only. Beginning on January 18th, we will go completely remote for one week. Please see the elementary and secondary schedules in the letter attached for the week of January 18-21. We believe due to the new changes by the Department of Health Services, we will be back to in-person learning by January 24th. The school buses will be providing hot spots for those families that need internet. The Food Service Dept. will provide Grab & Go Meals at all school sites; times and dates will be shared soon. If you have any questions, please call your child’s school office. On behalf of the Toppenish School District, we thank you for your understanding. We’ll get through this together.
John M. Cerna, Superintendent
