Let your Imagination Grow!

Hey there book lovers and future bookworms. Ready to grow your child’s library with an assortment of brand-new books? Sign up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and you’ll receive free books in the mail for your child from birth until they turn five!

Launched in 1995 and inspired by her father’s inability to read and write, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is on a mission to foster a life-long love of reading. The program started out serving children in Sevier County, Tennessee where Dolly grew up and has grown to a global operation that shares 2 million books worldwide each month.

Every month, Imagination Library participants receive a free, age-appropriate book. The first book a child receives is a customized version of “The Little Engine That Could,” and the month they turn five, they receive a custom version of “Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come!” With books addressed directly to them, as your child grows, so does their excitement--and that kind of learning and positivity is music to our ears.
