We're thrilled to share exciting news about our brand-new early learning center! The construction and development of this building is progressing, and we're aiming to host an open house event for the public this fall. This new space promises to be a game-changer for early childhood education in the Toppenish community.

One of the standout features of the new building is the thoughtfully designed playground. The playground will be nestled amidst the classrooms, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment. What's even more exciting is that our teachers will have the option to teach classes outdoors, taking advantage of the numerous benefits of outdoor education. Research has shown that outdoor learning fosters increased student engagement, academic improvements, stronger social skills, and enhanced self-esteem.

Safety and security are paramount, and we're proud to announce that the new classrooms will be housed under one secure roof. This setup ensures a safe and conducive learning environment for every child. Additionally, a state-of-the-art kitchen will help us prepare nutritious and delicious meals for the students, ensuring that they receive the nourishment they need to be their best.

Another remarkable aspect of this project is that it was funded through ESSER (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief) funds and a successful grant application. This means that our community will enjoy the benefits of this facility without increases in taxes.
