Toppenish School District

Dedicated to Educational Excellence

Parents, staff, and students, please be informed that we are in a food supply chain disruption at this time and it is a nation-wide issue.  We aren't receiving many food items as we order them. For instance, our major vendor ran out of pizza for the students so we may have to change our menu for pizza day.  They also ran out of other food products or were delayed in delivering them.  Trays, sporks and serving boats were also items they could not deliver to us. We've had to use plastic bags to put food in for the students.  We are working hard to look for these items with other vendors, but all of them are in short supply too.  We will keep everyone posted as we get more information and we ask everyone for patience and understanding.  Thank you.

Toppenish School District is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer.

  • On behalf of the School District, Board of Directors and administrators we would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Vela Family. Isaias (Chi) Vela had been with us for over 27 years and had a positive impact on our students working directly in the classroom, with our athletes as a football and wrestling coach, and not to mention his present responsibilities as groundskeeper doing a very fine job. He will be deeply missed.  We are very sorry for your loss.

    John M. Cerna,

    Superintendent Toppenish Schools.
