PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certificate – School Psychologist required.
Masters in School Psychology preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a positive manner with students, staff, and parents from a diverse cultural, economic and social background.
Ability to administer diagnostic procedures to assess the educational abilities and needs of students.
Ability to design, implement and monitor intervention strategies, goals and objectives.
Ability to provide support and direction for student needs.
Ability to speak and write effectively. Must be able to administer and interpret evaluation and write reports.
Ability to work closely with community agencies.
Experience in special education and/or children’s mental health programs preferred.
Knowledge of current state and federal special education regulations and ability to apply the regulations to ensure compliance.
