POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

 

SUBSTITUTE

BUS DRIVERS

 

$15.30 per hour

(hours worked will be on an as-needed basis)

 

TRAINING:

Toppenish School District will train substitute bus drivers.  For more information contact the Toppenish School District Personnel Office.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         High School Diploma or GED. 

 

·         Valid Washington State Driver’s License

 

·         Ability to pass a Washington State Patrol and FBI background check.

 

·         Possession of or interest in obtaining a current bus driver’s license (State Drivers Authorization, CDL with passenger endorsement) and meet all the qualifications for acquiring an OSPI Type 1 School Bus Driver’s Authorization as required in WAC 180-20-101 (copy available upon request).

 

·         Valid First Aid Card.

 

·         Satisfactory completion of the “Physical Examination of Commercial Drivers”  (DLE-520-061).

 

·         Knowledge of safe driving practices.

 

·         Good driving record.

 

·         Flexible hours (6:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.)

 

·         Must have working home/cell phone.
